Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.
• Registration requires accurate contact details and a secure password. Automated account creation is prohibited.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
• We may request identity verification to comply with Know Your Customer or anti-abuse obligations.

Permitted Service Use

• VerifyBox virtual numbers are provided solely for receiving SMS verifications and transactional messages.
• Prohibited uses include spam, phishing, harassment, fraud, account farm creation, or any unlawful activity.
• You agree to respect the terms and acceptable-use policies of downstream services where you enter VerifyBox numbers.
• Misuse may result in immediate suspension, loss of credits, and reporting to competent authorities.

Billing & Payment Terms

• Pricing, credit packs, and subscription tiers are documented on the pricing page and may change with prior notice.
• Payments are processed by third-party providers. You authorize us to share necessary billing details to complete transactions.
• Unused numbers may qualify for automatic refunds according to our refund policy published in the dashboard.
• Chargebacks for legitimate usage are considered a breach and will incur administrative fees.

Virtual Numbers & Messaging

• We offer temporary access to non-VoIP numbers. Ownership always remains with the originating carrier.
• Numbers may be reclaimed to address carrier policies, regulatory changes, or abuse prevention.
• Message delivery is dependent on telecom partners and cannot be guaranteed in every scenario.
• Message content is retained only long enough to relay it to you via dashboard or API endpoints.

API Access & Rate Limits

• API credentials are tied to your account and must be stored securely. Do not embed them in client-side code.
• We may enforce rate limits to preserve platform stability. Exceeding limits can trigger throttling or suspension.
• Integrations must gracefully handle retries, network errors, and pagination when applicable.

Compliance & Restricted Content

• You agree to comply with all applicable telecom, privacy, and data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA where relevant).
• Content involving gambling, adult entertainment, narcotics, extremist activity, or other sensitive categories requires written approval.
• We may disclose account information when legally compelled or to mitigate imminent harm.

Suspension & Termination

• You may close your account at any time in the dashboard. Outstanding balances remain payable.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations, non-payment, or risk management reasons.
• Upon termination, access to numbers and message history ceases immediately. Regulatory data may be retained as required by law.

Liability & Disclaimers

• VerifyBox provides the service "as is" and disclaims all warranties except where prohibited by law.
• Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid during the three months preceding the claim.
• Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.
• The parties agree to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations before pursuing legal remedies.

Governing Law & Venue

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, unless another venue is required by applicable law.

Changes to this Agreement

We may update these terms to reflect new features, regulatory requirements, or security practices. We will notify you at least 15 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of VerifyBox after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement.
